The Moon Landscape
The Moon Landscape, remnant of an ancient mountain range, is a forbidding valley of hills near Swakopmund. Chiselled over centuries by wind and the waters of the Swakopmund River, this breath taking landscape truly brings to mind the surface of some celestial body other than earth.

Welwitschia Plain
A number of unusual species of plants and animals are found only in the Namib Desert. One of these is the Welwitschia mirabilis, a shrub-like plant that grows just two long leaves continuously throughout its lifetime. These leaves may be several meters long, gnarled and twisted from the desert winds. The tap root of the plant develops into a flat, concave disc over age. The Welwitschia is notable for its survival in the extremely arid conditions in the Namib Desert, sometimes deriving moisture from the coastal sea fogs.

Swakopmund
Swakopmund is a coastal city in Namibia, located on the country's western coast along the Atlantic Ocean. Swakopmund is known for its unique blend of German colonial architecture, recreational activities, and as a gateway to attractions such as the Namib Desert and the nearby resort town of Walvis Bay. Swakopmund is a versatile destination that appeals to a variety of travellers due to its unique blend of natural beauty, outdoor activities, cultural attractions, and historical significance.

Spitzkoppe
The Spitzkoppe is a group of bald granite peaks or inselbergs located between Usakos and Swakopmund in the Namib desert of Namibia. The granite is more than 120 million years old and the highest outcrop rises about 1,728 metres above sea level.

Erongo Mountains
North of Karibib and Usakos, is one of Namibia's most popular tourist drawcards, the volcanic Erongo mountain range, of which the western peaks rise 2,320m above sea level. This roughly circular massif, dominates the flat plains west of Omaruru and gives the Erongo region its name.

Namib Naukluft Park
The Namib Naukluft Park is an ecologically protected area and was proclaimed in August 1979. The Park has an area of 49,800 km² and at the time of proclamation it was the largest protected area in Namibia. The Park is situated at the Atlantic coast and borders the Dorob Park to the north, the Restricted Diamond Area in to the south and it shares the border with the private NamibRand Nature Reserve to the east. In the north east the Naukluft Mountains form part of the Park as well.
